SAYINGS.......

Rasul Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wasallam) said: “If any Muslim clothes a Muslim when he is naked, Allah will clothe him with some green garments of Paradise; if any Muslim feeds a Muslim when he is hungry, Allah will feed him with some of the fruits of Paradise; and if any Muslim gives a Muslim drink when he is thirsty, Allah will give him some of the pure wine which is sealed to drink.” [Abu Daud]

Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) has made some things easy for us to acquire, that we otherwise would not have known how to obtain. Had Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) not told us, we would not even have known of Paradise let alone the garments therein. Not only has he informed us of their existence but made it possible for each one of us to easily get some.

Are we getting as excited about it as we do about a clearance sale at our favourite clothes’ store? If not, then there is something wrong with our eeman. Hazrat Ali (radi Allahu anhu) said that if he were to see Paradise with his own eyes he would not long for it more than he already longs for it. Nor would he by seeing Jahannum with his own eyes fear it more than he already does. This shows us the level of belief the Sahabah had in the words of Allah (subhana wa ta’ala)
.

A Beautiful Hadith for muhammed (SAW)

A Beautiful Hadith

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: 'When a man dies and his
relatives are busy in funeral, there stands an extremely handsome man by his
head. When the dead body is shrouded, that man gets in between the shroud
and the chest of the deceased.

When after the burial, the people return home, 2 angels, Munkar and
Nakeer(names of two special Angels), come in the grave and try to separate
this handsome man so that they may be able to interrogate the dead man in
privacy about his faith. But the handsome man says, 'He is my companion, he
is my friend. I will not leave him alone in any case. If you are appointed
for interrogation, do your job. I cannot leave him until I get him admitted
into Paradise '.

Thereafter he turns to his dead companion and says, 'I am the Qur'an, which
you used to read, sometimes in a loud voice and sometimes in a low voice. Do
not worry. After the interrogation of Munkar and Naker, you will have no
grief.'

When the interrogation is over, the handsome man arranges for him from
Al-Mala'ul A'laa (the angels in Heaven) silk bedding filled with musk.

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said: 'On the Day of Judgement,
before Allah, no other Intercessor will have a greater status than the
Qur'an, neither a Prophet nor an angel.'

Rasulullah (Sallallahu alaihe wasallam) said:

'Pass on knowledge from me even if it is only one verse'.

May Allah bestow this favour on all of us.

786-Does it stands for Bismillah Hirahmaan Niraaheem

In the name of Allah,Most Gracious,Most Merciful

786-Does it stands for 'Bismillah Hirahmaan Niraaheem'

We are meant to understand that '786' stands for 'Bismillah Hirahmaan Niraaheem'.How did it come about, and who started it?The numerals 786 in no way represent 'Bismillah Hirahmaan Niraaheem' and is not the sunnah way.If one fears abuse of the letter, etc.'Bismillah Hirahmaan Niraaheem' should be recited verbally at the beginning of the letter which will suffice for the written script.

The innovation of writing '786' replacing 'Bismillah Hirahmaan Niraaheem'has been adopted for a long time and the majority of the ummah is still indulged in it advertenly.Apart from the common folk, the scholars also heed no attention towards it and to avoid disrespect to the holy words they use it in their letters and documents. They adopt it as 'correct' and 'better' way to invite Allah's blessings and have also started replacing the Holy Words by this number on their houses, offices, buildings, etc. Unfortunately, this tendency is gradually going momentum. But,do we see this number instead of the Holy words in the in the Holy qur'aan?or can we write it there as well? can we remove 'Bismillah Hirahmaan Niraaheem' from the top of surah al-faatiha and replace it with the number 786? Obviously not. If we study the Qur'aan,we see it carries the holy words in a letter from prophet solomon(pbuh) to the Queen of sheeba-Bilqis-who was an infidel at that time.Even Prophet muhammad(pbuh) in his letters to different heads of states and governments, used the holy words at the top. Therefore, whosoever uses 786 with the intention to obtain Allah's blessings,is a misguided person and any attempt to justify it, is ignorance. The letters by the prophet(pbuh) to non-muslim kings and chiefs bear the holy words 'Bismillah Hirahmaan Niraaheem'. This was also the case of his noble companions.Did the prophet(pbuh) and his companions respect the holy words less than we do? Was the verse, 'Today i completed your religion for you', revealed to the prophet(pbuh) or to the so called scholars of our age who are all bent to amend the Divine principles.

Similarly, some Muslims replace Allah's name by the number '66' and the prophet's name by '92'. But if one ask, the number '420' is used against somebody's name and he is called '420'. can he bear such an insult? Calling someone by a nick name is a sin. Allah(SWT) says, 'Don't call one another by nick names'. If Allah prohibits the use of nicknames for fellow human beings, how can He allow the use of such an insulting replacement number for Himself and His Prophet(PBUH).

'Bismillah Hirahmaan Niraaheem' great significance in the Qur'aan and Muslims are ordered to begin any work in the name of Allah, not in the number '786' or any other substitution.

Boost your Ramadan spirit

In the name of Allah,Most Gracious,Most Merciful

Top 8 ways to boost your Ramadan spirit this year

1. Dua
Ask allah to make this the most awesome, spiritually uplifting Ramadan you've ever had.
only He can make it happen and relying on Him completely is one step in boosting our spirits.

2. Quiet your mind, turn off the...
TV,Internet,Radio,Cell phone,pager,ipod,etc.Find a quiet place,close your eyes and connect
with God. At first, your mind will swirl with the useless and not-so-useless info in your
head. But force it to think of three things in these few minutes:
a. Allah
b. your purpose in life
c. are you living your life on purpose?
Do this every day of ramadan if you can.if that's not possible.
try it atleast three times a week.

3. Learn about great muslims
Even if you've read it before, read or listen to Abdul Wahid Hamid's companions of the
prophet again this Ramadan.Read about or listen to the story of a companion daily.
Well-written and short, this is a wonderful way to see how other muslims retained their
strength of faith against incredible odds. A sure-fire spirituality booster.

4. Connect to the Quran
The Quran is God's way of talking to us.It's one of the most important keys to spiritual upliftment. This Ramadan, connect to the Quran in a new way.If you already read Quran regularly, perhaps you can choose a new theme to focus on or select a surah you haven't read in a while. If you don't read Quran regularly, maybe you can read just two minutes of Quran a day, reading only from the first page you encounter when you open up the Book. In addition, try to keep a Quranic journal to record your reflections, questions, thoughts, etc,
about what you've read.

5. Take care of others
Whether it's someone who's away from their family,a person who's having problems with a spouse or their kids or a fellow student struggling with their grades, make an extra effort this Ramadan to help others out.The spiritual boost you get in return is well worth it.

6. Feed the hungry
When your stomach shrieks in protest, give that panhandler some change, volunteer at a soup kitchen, get involved with your local food pantry or make a couple of bag lunches to give to the hungry you meet on your way to school or work.

7. Give up one lifelong bad habit
Ask yourself what some of your defining traits are. Then decide which is the worst of them.
is it a hot temper?Apathy?Laziness?Impatience?whatever it is,use this Ramadan to put an end to it Practice the opposite of your bad habit every day until the end of the month. By then insha Allah, you'll look back and be amazed at what a change you've made for the better.

8. Use those Nights of power
The last ten nights of Ramadan aren't called the Nights of power for nothing.Use these precious times for deep, heartfelt Dua(supplication), self-analysis,reflection and serious thought.
